Christmas Social
This year we're planning a Christmas social event, lunch and a quiz at the Egremont Bar and Restaurant in Worthing on Saturday 13th of December. We will meet at 12 noon, and food will be served from 1:00pm, giving us time to have a drink before we eat. You have the option of a two-course lunch for £32 or three courses for £38 plus a 5% service charge (see the menu on the ticket link). It would be great if you could come along and join us.
You will be asked to select your menu choice and pay a non-refundable £20 deposit per ticket; the balance you will pay on the day.
The closing date for reserving a place is the 16th of November.

A Festive Feast:
Our Christmas Social at The Egremont
The Egremont played host to our annual Christmas lunch this year, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. Our group of ten gathered at noon to kick off the festivities with a few rounds at the bar. The local favorites—Harvey’s Old and the seasonal Christmas Ale—were the stars of the pre-meal drinks, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxed catch-up.
Before sitting down to eat, we tested our wits with a three-part pub quiz. We tackled a "Name the Pub" picture round, a "Name the Brewer" ale challenge, and a fast-paced True or False general knowledge finale. Congratulations to Malcolm Foster, who took home the top prize: a fantastic bottle of Kentish ale.
When the food arrived, it was truly exceptional. Our host, Greg, went above and beyond, even surprising us with two bottles of the legendary Sunken Knave Boffle. It was a rare treat that we shared around the table, with a lucky few even managing seconds and thirds!
To cap off a brilliant social, a few of us retired to The Old Bike Store to explore their Christmas Beer Festival. It was a wonderful day spent in great company.
