We got the Wetherspoons Beer Festival off to a fantastic start with a social at The George in Littlehampton — and what a night it was.
The George pulled out all the stops for us: a reserved section to ourselves, jugs of beer flowing throughout the evening, and a spread of snacks to keep us going. A group of eight of us turned out for the occasion, and we were delighted to be joined by friends from Western Sussex, making it an even merrier gathering.
The star of the show, of course, was the beer. The George had an impressive selection on, and we worked our way through some real highlights:

Between us we covered a fantastic range of styles — Brown Ale, Porter, IPA, Golden Ale and more — making it a proper exploration of what British brewing has to offer right now.
