Beer Scoring

Using Whatpub

CAMRA has a database which tries to include every pub in the country. The information about each pub can be found on the www.whatpub.com website, it is kept up to date by branch pubs officers.

ANYONE can access it to find out about a pub and send feedback if for example opening hours have changed.

CAMRA members ONLY can score the beers on a visit which is very important as it forms most of the input to deciding if a pub should be a candidate for the Pub of the Year and the Good Beer Guide.

We encourage you to score every beer in every pub you visit anywhere in the UK, you do not have to do it in the pub, you can note pub/brewer/beer /score and do it later at home.

www.whatpub.com is a website (not an app) which can be accessed from any desktop computer or laptop, but it also works very well on mobile phones and tablets. You can (if you choose) set it to remember your login and password on a PC or using touch / face ID on your phone/tablet.

See here for more information on beer scoring and why it is so important https://camra.org.uk/take-action/national-beer-scoring-system/

The new version of whatpub.com allows you to easily apply filters to search for pubs where you want
